Q. How much wool is inside the quilts?
A. Our standard fill weight for our year-round quilts is 450 grams per square metre (gsm) and 200 gsm for our Summer quilt. These are our recommended weights for most Australian conditions.
Q. Are Wooltara products suitable for people with allergies?
A. Wool, unlike feathers, is naturally non-allergenic. Our fillings and wool piles are all treated with Ultra-Fresh, a highly effective agent that fights off bacteria, mould and mildew which not only provides lasting freshness but is effective control against dust mites – great news for allergy and asthma sufferers.
Q. What is Ultra-Fresh and how does it work?
A. Ultra-Fresh is an intensive anti-microbial and anti-bacterial treatment of the raw fibres that provides lasting resistance to the growth of mould, mildew and fungi. It is not removed by washing or dry cleaning. Many household allergies are caused by the common dust mite which breeds readily in untreated materials. Dust mites feed exclusively on discarded human skin cells, which need to be decomposing for the mites to consume them. Deterring the growth of mould and mildew prevents dust mites from being able to survive, breed and colonise your bedding.

Q. AUSTRALIAN DELIVERIES
A. With online purchases, we send all Wooltara products free of charge, via courier. This delivery service within Australia normally takes 5-10 working days, subject to stock availability. Please make sure you supply a complete street address, day-time telephone number and contact details to assist with delivery.
Q. OVERSEAS DELIVERIES
A. A flat rate of AU$75 per quilt or underlay and AU$30 per pillow is charged for delivery by air mail to all overseas destinations.
Overseas deliveries normally take 5-20 working days, depending on destination.
